This vivacious lady lost 50+ pounds and transformed her health, her style and her life!  She’s a cheerleader for people everywhere to get their own transformative, great results in all areas of their lives.  Her quick wit, warmth and hilarious sense of humor has won the hearts of her many thousands of fans (7000+ Twitter followers @KaraKJMiller) and viewers.

Kara Miller has lived in Jamaica, Barbados, London and now LA.   Kara is a Lifestyle Expert (Beauty & Style, Health & Weight Loss, Food & Home and  Happiness & Self Help) – a culinary adventurer and a passionate fashionista.   She is an extremely versatile TV host who has interviewed everyone from award winning directors, authors and actors to homeless people and victims of domestic abuse. She is as at home doing a live outdoor broadcast as she is on a stand up comedy stage.  She’s a funny chick who loves to improvise.  Kara is also a talented actress with a Meisner technique, improv and comedy background.

In her spare time, Kara can be found scouring vintage shops for her next amazing find, cooking, making natural, DIY beauty products, fashion trends, laughing, inventing recipes, exercising, dancing to Caribbean calypso and helping her friends to laugh more, lose weight, get fit and makeover their wardrobes and their lives.  Kara’s mission is to get people to see the best in themselves.  To be empowered and to know what is possible for themselves and their lives.  Kara is a certified Fitness Nutrition Specialist (NASM – National Academy of Sports Medicine) and trained NLP Practitioner.

She is passionate about her ongoing charity work with kids in South Central LA and her work on the Education & Outreach committee of BAFTA LA (British Academy).  Kara trained and volunteered with the Samaritans – an organization that provides counseling for people in crisis.  She has also gained valuable experience working as a coach with a disparate group of people, helping them to make radical changes to their lives and to achieve their wildest dreams.

Kara speaks fluent French and graduated from Oxford University.  She now lives in West Hollywood with her husband and her cheeky British Jack Russell!

Kara Miller is an award winning writer-director.  She won a prestigious UK Film Council Breakthrough Brits award, the Hitchcock Award and the Screen Nation ‘Best Emerging Talent’ award.  Kara’s film directing credits include: Nobody The Great (Winner of Cinequest Film Festival’s Viewers’ Voice Audience Award for ‘Best Feature Film’, currently on iTunes USA); her award winning short films (Cheese Makes You Dream, Elephant Palm Tree and How to Make Friends) have sold to broadcasters such as HBO and the BBC and have screened at film festivals around the world including Sundance, Berlin and London.   Her writing credits include: Lolapalooza (in development) for Working Title Films; Boo! (22 episodes – BBC) and Jim Jam & Sunny (20 episodes – ITV).   Kara also has numerous award winning writing credits in theatre and BBC Radio 4.  She is a film expert that was selected (along with Steven Spielberg etc) for Channel 4′s landmark program ’50 Films to see before you die’.
